Print is a Floral Still Life Scene Titled Poppies Circa 1920s – 1930s.
Frame measures approximately 33"W x 20-3/4"H. x 1"D - Frame has been painted sometime in the past.
Original cardboard and some nails are still in place as is the original hanging wire. Some of the angled corner pieces are loose.
R. Atkinson Fox was most noted for his work as a calendar artist in the early 1900's but he also did this floral print as well. This particular version of the print is seldom seen and is titled Poppies.
Poppies are often associated Flanders Fields, a generic name of the World War I battlefields in the medieval County of Flanders.
